TEATRO DE SOMBRAS

El teatro es una expresión artística en la que se conjugan elementos propios, tanto del lenguaje verbal como no verbal. En el siguiente enlace, podrás observar un original y divertido teatro de sombras, en el que se ha eliminado por completo el lenguaje verbal. Tras el visionado del vídeo, contesta a las siguientes cuestiones:

1.  ¿Qué tres animales, de gran tamaño, se observan al principio de la actuación?
2. ¿Qué objeto infantil porta uno de los actores?
3. ¿Qué emblemático monumento aparece?
4. ¿Con qué palabra acaba la actuación?
5. Nombra, al menos, dos elementos no verbales fundamentales para la puesta en escena de esta performance.

ENGLISH IS ALL AROUND!

An Anglicism is a word borrowed from English into another language. In Spain, the adoption of English words is extremely common in the spheres of business and information technology:

But we can find English words everywhere although sometimes we have a word or expression in Spanish with the same meaning (backstage-entre bastidores). Just look carefully around you and you'll read or hear English words everyday:

 

                       bacon     camping     hobby     airbag     aftershave  top model  

Look for ten examples of anglicisms and tell us where you read or heard them. Do we have a Spanish equivalent for any of them? It's going to be easier than you think, there are lots of them because ENGLISH IS ALL AROUND!
