HAPPY PANCAKE DAY!

Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It's usually celebrated throughout the United Kingdom by the cooking and eating of pancakes. In some places pancakes races are held. Participants run along tossing a pancake in a frying pan as they go.
