¿MADRID 2024?

                                                         SEVILLA 2004 - 2008

Following the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Spain decided to give the candidacy to Sevilla, his candidacy for the 2004 Olympics and 2008 but did not get pass the first round in any of the two occasions.

                                                               MADRID 2012

Sevilla tried to be the Olimpic city for the Olimpics Games in 2012 but Madrid started to work in this Olimpics Games too. Spain could only choose one city and the COE (Comité Olímpico Español) chose Madrid for be the Spain venue.

Madrid in this Olimpics games exerted very much with fireworks, with the larger flag of Spain in the world, with a concerts...

But Madrid was eliminated in the third round by Londres.

                              MADRID 2016

One more, Madrid tried to was the Olimpic city in 2016.

Madrid had a lot of support and the second better valoration of the COI. 

Finally, was derrotated by Rio de Janeiro, only because in the rotation of the continents tuch on America.

                                                  MADRID 2020

Another intent of Madrid for was the Olimpic city in 2020.

Finally, the 7 of September was descarted in the first round by Estambul.

Everyone were hopeful with this candidacy but the COI chose Tokio for the Olimpics Games in 2020.

Note: If Madrid was the Olimpic city in 2020 in 'El Nuevo Arcangel' in Cordoba was played footbal.

Other cities of Spain too.

The COE was decided to not participate in the candidace of Olimpics Games of 2024 because there are other cities that work very much and was very probably that Madrid not was the Olimpic city that year.
