A wonderful experience

          London 2014 : A wonderful experience.


In London we have seen and learned many things. Museums, plays, museums, parks .... But what was most impressed you the most?
For me to meet people from other countries who were in the same situation as us and to discuss what we liked most of the day, exchange phone numbers and today to keep in touch with them in English because they do not speak Spanish.

This experience of being in another country in one of the most inspiring cities of the world with friends and classmates was amazing, an experience that made ​​us feel confident and spend many hours together ....
 
Some people on this trip were mounted in plane for the first time, go through an airport, check our bags, spending controls, was very tired. But when boarding the plane in the clouds with a spectacular view, was worth!

Do you remember those days there? Really, they were INCREDIBLE

We were counting days until 19th June, this day was the most important day of our year, of our three years before.. and suddenly this day came..

Here started our trip to London, our small story there.. it seemed that the airplane was waiting for us. Everyone was nervous because of the take off, even the teachers. 5 days were waiting us in one of our favourite places, the capital of the UK.









Let the days go but only a bit. I want stop the time here, at the Fourth Day in London, OUR Fourth  Day there.

SUNDAY 22nd JUNE

Subway was our first stop but obviously after the puchases in the supermarket, we catched the subway always in the same station, can you remember it?

Sure you're thinking the same that I'm thinking right now.. You want to go there again. The first destination: Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
Maybe the place where everybody wants go to do the typical photo. A famous place in London that everyone knows.

The ride around the Thames river is one of the reasons I have chosen this day, it was interesting and I liked it so much, I enjoyed seeing places there, it only had a bad thing, the sun was in our faces all time and it was a bit annoying..some of us burned there and I can remember my face or Alfonso's face it was funny, go to London to burn there.. people couldn't believe it!!


Finally, after we visited Greenwich, we went to Hyde Park, for me, the best place in London. It's the most beautiful park and it's huge too. I absolutely fell in love with Hyde Park.
There, we could relax and had a good time. The ride throught the lake was really fantastic, I'd like do it again.

Córdoba, my new home

Hi friends! How are you? I'm so happy here. I thought this change was going to be difficult and tough, but now (2 months later) I must say that the change is ok for me. But also a little difficult. New home and new things inside it, new neighbors, new classmates, new friends in an academy, etc. A lot of things in a short time so it can't be easy. 

Entrance of the urbanization

I live now outside Córdoba. In a big urbanization near the city. My home is like a dream for me. I have a communal pool, a long garden and the most important thing: I can relax. In Montoro, the people always shout in the street and I heard them all the time and in Córdoba too. Live in a urbanization is better than in a city if we value the noises. But I like Montoro too. I also live there. Normally, at the weekends my family and me back to our town and have a good days.
I'm studing in 'IES López Neyra'. It's in Figueroa's neighborhood. I think that there are a lot of students. And the high school is smaller than Santos Isasa and its ''break time's place''. One curiosity about this school is the classes. We can't stay in the same classroom to all the subjetcs. For example, when I study maths, I go to one of the 5 classes of maths lessons. We are 4º ESO D, and we're 25 students. But I go to 'Lopez Neyra' only twice a week. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, I study in the music school. It's in the other part of Córdoba, but I prefer it. It's near my home and also, there are only the musicians students (so there are not so people).
This summer was also incredible for me! I was all the day in the swimming pool with my new neighbors. And now, I play football! Jajaja (It isn't usually in me). 
I know you are going to have a B1 this year, and I go to a bilingual high school but if I am in the musician's part, I can't be a bilingual student, so I go to the Britanic Academy next to Carrefour. We learn there with native teachers. I think that I will have a good english level at the end of the year.
Now, I'm going to work with you. In this blog! Maybe in several weeks I can post an entry about last year. And also, I want to post the obligatories entries and comment in your texts. It's like if I am in 4º ESO B with you :)

Music School

                      THE THANKGIVINGS DAY

The other day en class, I showed you a presentation of one of my favourites day, that it is THANKSGIVING, and I was talking about the day, the food and their tradition, but now I'm going to tell you more about his history.

Is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the UNITED STATES and on the second Monday of October IN CANADA. Although it is celebrated in many countries more. 

But there are a lot os different stories about their origins depending of the country, but finally all the stories are for the same reason. In Spain, this day it's called "Dia de Accion de Gracias".

The people normally meet together to dinner and have fun all the family or friends, the usually eat a large roasted turkey or baked which is tradionally accompanied with cornbread and served with jelly sauce.

Besides vegetable dishes are usually served like green beans, sweet potato and mashed potatoes with gravy; also usually served a variety of desserts, pie being the most popular pumpkin.

And you, what is your favourite football team?

As my favourite football team is the Real Madrid, I'm going to tell you some things about it.

Real Madrid is a professional football club based in Madrid,Spain.

Founded in 1902 as Madrid Football Club, the team has traditionally worn a white home kit since.

It is one of three clubs to have never been relegated from the top flight of Spanish football, along with Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona.

There is often a fierce rivalry between the two strongest teams in a national league, and this is particularly the case in La Liga, where the game between Real Madrid and Barcelona is known as 'The Classic' (El Clásico).

The club's nearest neighbour is Atlético Madrid, a rivalry being shared between fans of both football teams.

On 24 May 2014, Real Madrid defeated city rivals Atlético Madrid in the Champions League Final winning their first European title since 2002, in which it's known by Real Madrid fans as La Décima. The final was played on 24 May 2014 at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal.

The stadium of Real Madrid is the Santiago Bernabeu, renamed in honour of their former chairman Santiago Bernabéu Yeste, is one of the world's most famous and prestigious football venues.

As you know, the Real Madrid has won ''La Decima'' and they made a new anthem called ''Hala Madrid''. Here you can listen it, for me, it's incredible.

IDEAL HOLIDAYS

Everybody pass all the year wanting that the holidays comes really fast,above all the teenagers because we spend a lot of time study,doing homework or learning things in the high schools.

But finally,anyone  know what activities do during the summer. 

I think we need do something to enjoy and forget the time and I am going to show you some examples of good things to do.

Usually and in Spain most of the people go to the beach to disconnect ,to sunbathe and to swim in the sea . If you like this , we are lucky because in our country we have a lot of good beaches to have fun and forget the problems .

This photo is Cabo de Gata in Almeria ( Andalucia) . A lot of people travel to this place to enjoy the views and the sea. It is one of the few unspoilt beaches 

of Spain . 

In Cádiz there are also incredible sandy beaches where the blue of the sea is involved with the blue of the sky . These are good options to have a great holidays and where you can play a lot of sports and discover wonderfull places .

Other side if you prefer do rural or cultural tourism you can go to other cities or countries to discover other types of cultures or ancient historic period through monuments or different places .

This is one of the most incredible cities of Spain . The picture show us 
the Segovia ´s Acueduct . The cities contain a lot of places to visit and a high amount of ancient monuments but like this there are many cities in Spain for example Salamanca, Oviedo, Barcelona , Santiago de Compostela ,Granada,etc..  

But each person is different some of them prefer go to a cruise along the Mediterranean sea or travel along the Pacific ocean like you can see in the photos below the text . Also some people decide go to the mountains to practise different sports like ski or climb and to feel the adrenalin in their bodies .

  

  

In conclusion it isn´t possible to pass the holidays in your house and doing nothing because if you want to enjoy the summer and have fun with your family, your friends or anyone you can do it but remember: you must tell us all the details of the travel .

CONGRATULATIONS?

  What is more important for people?

  Yesterday, was the Champion's final and the Real Madrid won, they were the Champion's winners. People think that this was an historic act which everybody have to remember but.. Is it really important?

                                  

  Everyday hundred of people died because of diseases like cancer or other types of illness, and the govern spent our money in tings like this. The Real Madrid has private buses and flies too, meanwhile the scientists don't have money to do investigations about diseases so, they can't progress with any cure. However, people never think about it and they prefer say nothing and go on although the problems be there, just by their side.

Today, 25th May are the elections of the European Congress but people give more importance to football matches than the elections. It seems that football is who give money to people and not govern, today many people haven't gone to vote because of the success of yesterday and I ask this people..
                                        Are they who give you money for live?
