Hi! I´m water-efficiency hero FLO!

As you know, water is essential for all living things and we often treat it like there is an infinite supply. It's time to get educated about the value of water and how you can protect this important natural resource.
I have a very important mission: I need you to learn and teach people how to save and protect water. Do you want to help me, please?. Are you ready?

WHY SAVE WATER?

Do you know that water is a limited resource? I am going to explain you why in the following page, so read it and answer the questions.

"Why save water"
1.- What percentage of all the water on the Earth can be used by people?

SIMPLE WAYS TO SAVE WATER.

Now we are going to learn some simple ways to save water. Go to this page: "Simple way to save water", and do the exercise.
2.- Write down the 5 simple ways of saving water that you have learned.

OUR MISSION: PLAY THE GAME!

Now, we are ready!!! We are going to work together and save water. How are we going to do it?. With a funny game!!. But the problem is there are 4 water-wasting monsters that can kill us, so you will have to avoid them. The instructions are:
- Move me through the water pipes.
- Answer the water efficiency questions.
- Avoid water-wasting monsters.

Play the GAME and answer these two questions.
3.- What is the name of your favourite water-wasting monster and why is he wasting water?

4.- What was your score?

Square sets

As far as I could know both of these two drawing instruments you can see in the left are referred in English as "square sets".

To distinguish one from the other you have to point to properties they have as geometric figures, and that leads us to the questions I wanted you to answer.

• Why are these instruments like this, and no other way?
What does each one have in special, apart from a right angle?

• Have they to do with some regular poligons in some way? Which ones?

LA CONSTITUCIÓN ESPAÑOLA

España es un país formado por muchos pueblos y muchas gentes. En 1.978 todos decidieron escribir cómo tenemos que comportarnos entre nosotros y con las gentes de otros países. Con todo lo que escribieron hicieron un libro que todos los españoles tenemos que conocer. Ese libro es la Constitución. En ella, se reflejan los derechos y los deberes de los ciudadanos españoles, así como nuestras libertades, límites territoriales, bandera, etc. Seguro que en clase, habéis tratado el tema y ahora repasaremos algunos de sus aspectos de una forma amena. Por ello, te proponemos las siguientes actividades:

1. Lee el cuento La constitución de los animales.
2. A continuación, explica brevemente qué relación existe entre éste y nuestra Constitución.
3. Lee la poesía que encontrarás en la web anterior y añade, de tu propia inventiva, dos versos más, relacionados con nuestros derechos y deberes como ciudadanos.
